Kolob Mountain Ranch (32 KW System for
a 50-room hotel)
We pre-assemble solar panels in our shop to save on-site installation time. The arrays arrive
assembled -- ready for lifting into place. Note the combiner boxes and lightning arrestor enclosures on the poles. Precise
measurement and placement of the poles ensures maximum use of land available and yearly sun exposure. We work with the terrain
so that the finished arrays have a finished, symmetrical look.
This 3-phase system replaced about $300 per day
in diesel fuel generating costs, and more savings in generator repairs. In an off-grid application, solar is more cost
effective than diesel or gas generation.
